Easy operation is via a single button on the unit base and a remote is also included for advanced control. This allows you to dim, select LED colour and control LED functions. These include strobe, fade, flash and smooth transition. When dimmed to a lower brightness level this unit makes an ideal nightlight. 
Illumination is provided by a sturdy base which can either be powered by 3 AA batteries or by USB outlet (cable included)
The USB socket is a delicate component, so please make sure an adult supervises cable attachment.
